Daughter of Seventh-day Adventist Pastor, Sara trained as an architect in London and built a career well beyond buildings: an architecture magazine, a global conference business, an industry-shaping public life. Running underneath it, for almost two decades, was a private and relentless search through Tibetan Buddhism, Taoism, shamanic traditions and plant medicine. At 20 she found shamanism, and for 19 years I held ceremonies quietly while almost no one in my professional world knew.
